The village of Grčarevec on the edge of green Planinsko polje has only few houses, a small church, and the tourist farm of the Žigon family. The tourist season here is closely linked with fly-fishing since the Unica River with its trout, grayling, and pike is a genuine paradise for fishermen from all over the world. The trophy trout caught in the Unica rank among the most beautiful in Slovenia. The Žigons will delight hungry visitors with local farm dishes and soybean specialties.
